David joined Odey in 2005 as Chief Executive. He was previously President of Fidelity's UK and European Institutional business. David started his career with Swire Pacific, moving to James Capel in Hong Kong in 1986. David joined Fidelity in 1994 as an emerging markets analyst. Two years later he became Head of Emerging Markets. Prior to his appointment as President, David was Managing Director of the UK Institutional Division (Fidelity Pensions Management) from the beginning of 2000 until July 2001. David graduated from University College, Oxford in 1981.

Tim joined Odey in October 2001 and is now CFO. He previously worked at West LB Panmure Gordon in management accounting and risk management. Prior to that Tim worked for PwC as an auditor in the Investment Mgt division. He is Chartered Mgt Accountant and graduated from Aberdeen University in 1997.

Claire joined Odey in 2004 as the executive lawyer. Claire trained and qualified as a lawyer at Lovells before specialising in securities, derivatives and funds law. Previously Claire was a captain in the intelligence corps where she served in Germany, Italy, Northern Ireland and Bosnia and joined Odey in 2004. Claire graduated from the University of Wales with a degree in German.

David joined Odey in 1995 initially as Chief Executive Officer and today he is Chairman focusing on business supervision and strategy and co-heads the research department. David joined Odey from Leopold Joseph, the UK merchant bank, where he was CEO and had worked since 1980. David graduated from New College, Oxford, in 1980.

Fergus joined Odey in March 2009 as its Compliance Officer. Fergus's previous experience includes a combination of both industry and regulatory experience, most recently 3 years as the Head of Compliance - Europe and Asia for the multi strategy hedge fund manager Highbridge Capital Management. Previously Fergus spent 3 years as Compliance Manager with a specialist institutional asset manager, Pareto Investment Management Ltd, and 5 years with the Financial Services Authority in both the Enforcement and Supervision departments. He has a Masters Degree in Commercial Law from the Queen Mary and Westfield, University of London.
